I'm a first time Mum and I am eager to make sure all my experiences with my little baby are written down so I can look back in years to come and remember! It doesn't actually bother me if no-one bothers to read any of them (but it's nice that you do!) as I really feel this is primarily for my own benefit as writing it all down helps me look back at the days events in a more sensible way than when you're right in the middle of it all!
I wish I'd started this diary when I was pregnant, but it simply didn't occur and being something of a blogosphere philistine I assumed blogging was somehow difficult and technical. Well, luckily I realised that it's actually dead easy and I started writing about getting my then six week old baby into a routine, something which I had been told in equal authority could be done and was totally impossible and bad to try.
Well, Joseph, my little boy, took a little while to get used to it, but surprisingly quickly feel into the routine (good old Gina Ford) and rather than stop blogging (addicted!) I've just been writing about general motherhood experiences. I'm new at this, everything my little boy does is something I've never experienced and it's fun to share it, especially when he does something cute.
